Description
The DO program at the Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine (ICOM) is a four-year medical education leading to a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree, where the first two years focus on preclinical studies on campus, including foundational medical concepts and osteopathic principles, while the final two years involve clinical rotations at various hospitals and clinics to gain hands-on patient care experience; ICOM emphasizes training physicians to serve rural and underserved communities, incorporating a strong focus on osteopathic manipulative medicine throughout the curriculum
